This is one of several “first conventions” for me this year, and it’s a big one–Dragoncon has been around for a number of years, and has become one of the biggest fantasy and science fiction conventions on the East Coast. Besides the costumes and celebrities, it’s also got quite the author/literature track, and I’m happy to have been invited to be a part of it this year. If you’re in the Atlanta area, please stop by and say hello! My schedule is as follows:
Saturday, September 5th:
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Workshop–Networking and Promotion for Creators in the Online Age
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Reading with Bryan Young
4-5 p.m.: Panel–Westeros vs. Middle-earth with Kirsten Z. Cairns and Constance G.J. Wagner
Sunday, September 6th:
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Panel–Star Wars vs. Middle-earth, Part 1 with Michael Martinez
